1.This gemological binocular microscope consists of several key components. The viewing head contains two eyepieces that provide a three-dimensional view of the gemstone under examination. And eyepieces have adjustable interpupillary distance to accommodate users with different eye widths.
2.The objective lens is located at the bottom of the microscope and is responsible for capturing the image of the gemstone. It comes in different magnification options 1X-4X and make the total magnification 20X-80X.
3.It has a stage where the gemstone is placed for examination. The stage includes clips to securely hold the gemstone in place, allowing users to position it under the objective lens for a clear view.
4.The microscope features both transmitted and reflected light sources. Transmitted light passes through the gemstone from underneath the stage, highlighting its internal characteristics such as inclusions and color zoning. Reflected light, on the other hand, comes from above the stage and is used to analyze surface features and reflectivity.
5.To enhance the viewing experience and facilitate analysis,it also offer additional features. These can include adjustable iris diaphram and darkfield illumination for inspecting gemstone transparency.
